Two Cents

Right out of college, I got the boss from hell (physically does resemble a hobgoblin). He had three months notice I was coming, but greeted me for 5 seconds in the lobby and left for the whole day. Next day, gives me custom management financial report (ie, some wack accountant put some numbers together ADHOC) I have never seen, tells me to give him an analysis and leaves. An hour later, calls me and says, quote "what do you got, it's down the the wire here?" Is that the kind of pressure you put on a new recruit in the first two days of work? It goes down from there, because he took on so many requests that he basically wait to the last minute to finish any one project, and anything he gave me was ASAP. Anyway, here's a typical conversation:
Boss says, "Two Cents, are you busy right now?"
Two Cents says, "Oh, I'm trying to save the world."
Boss says, "OK, can you run this query real quick? It should not push you back too far. Thanks."
