Being from MN, its my duty to point out that, although quite rare, the Twins have the second best record in baseball this year, with by far the lowest payroll.
See ya in Oct...
(don't all jump on the bandwagon so quick now... jk, lol)

Being from Minnesota, I know the odds are they will tank. But I'll be happy if they don't!

I kind of hope they do tank just because if they have a good year then we have to hear more about how they want a new park or they will move out! LET THEM MOVE!

Go twinkies. I also from Minnesota know that our teams have a tendency to fall off later in the season. One thing is for sure though, we can always get to the playoffs, it just sucks choking.

I would like to see them go all the way this year. That would be great! I just wish the owner of the team would knock off all this "I want a new statium or I'm moving the team" crap! There's nothing wrong with the Dome they are using now. If they're tired of looking at it or really have to have their stupid retractible roof then let's put the money into making the Dome look better and not tear up more land for another statium.
Bottom line: GO ALL THE WAY TWINS!!! (and let's hope we can get a new owner for the team that knows what loyalty to the home town is)

That's true, I realize that we didn't want to hear about a new stadium with a losing team, nor is it going to make anyone anyone better on that team, but the fact remains that the revenues are not there and that's why Polland has put a pretty generous offer out on the table. Better than the Vikes owner!
