Hi,
For some messed up reason, I can't open my Outlook anymore (not Outlook Express). I click on the icon and it shows the Outlook splash screen and then freezes. If I ctrl+alt+del it says not responding.
So, my question is, does anyone know how I can backup all my stuff without having to go into Outlook? Better yet, does anyone know how to fix my problem?
Thanks

I'm using WinMe and Outlook 2000...
I know usually when backing up my stuff I export everything to .pst files. But the problem now is that I can't even get into the program... the only .pst file i came up with when i did a search is outlook.pst... but that file is only 93,000kb... i should have around 70mb of info...
does anyone know if i reinstall outlook would my stuff be erased? thanks in advance for any help and thanks to the person that replied
93,000kb is approximatly 93mb

Have you try checking your profile? To see if it is still there. It is located in control panel.....there should be an icon that say mail.
Reinstalling Outlook will not delete your PST= Personal Folder, PAB = Personal Address Book - don't froget to backup.
OST = your profile.
Usually deleting the OST and recreating might solve the problem.
I deal with this crap everyday at work.
