Question about icons in IE's favorites

How come when I save the gotapex.com main page in my favorites it places a gotapex icon before the site name, but it doesn't put an icon when I save the forums page to favorites. And along the same line, why do the icons sometimes mysteriously disappear and only comes back if I resave the page in favorites?

Perhaps the forums page doesn't have a favicon.

The icons will disappear when you delete your temporary internet files, which may be a scheduled task in some cases.
