Anyone know how to make this kit work with my 855c?

Why not call the company and tell them you got one the these without realizing it couldn't be used on your printer and find out if it can be used on the printer. That way if there's any potential serious damage to be done you'll find out ahead of time, and who knows, maybe there's another product for your type of printer. Better safe than sorry.
