This is basically a follow up to the "CD-RWs?" post. Originally saw the coupon for Onvia.com at www.tomeeboy.com/deals (http://www.tomeeboy.com/deals) but recently saw it here as well.

Onvia has the Plextor 8432 for $199.99. Use the $25off$100 coupon (1000026) at checkout to bring it down to a sweet $174.99 shipped!

They are currently offering free shipping for a limited time. What are you waiting for?

This deal is still cheaper than the Buy.com deal if you are not entitled to free shipping. Check it out!

Talk about service! I ordered this drive from Onvia on Thursday morning - I got it on Friday! The shipping was free to boot! Very different from my previous experience with Onvia.com (VTech phone)
That coupon dies on May 15. Use it quickly.

If you can't beat 'em, give 'em a Staples.com coupon :)

dudes, i just got mine yesterweek. does this drive support 80 min cds? and i was wondering how would i reformat my cdrw cd (you know the verbantim that came wif it)? i don't want to use the directcd file format which is on it anymore. I would like to write an iso onto it but it must be cleared with zeros right? is that a way a software package to write pure zeros to the cdrw media.. in effect to erase the ****ty ucp format on it now so its virgin again?

Dude,

You are way ahead of me! I haven't had the time to install mine yet, so I really can't answer your question. It would probably get better response at a CDR/W board. Here's a couple I know of: www.cdrwcentral.com (http://www.cdrwcentral.com) or www.cd-rw.org (http://www.cd-rw.org)
Hope that helps, because I am clueless.

to cdr/rw experts out there. Is my above suggestions possible? That is, making a formatted cdrw back to its virgin state again or at least being able to copy an iso onto it.
