I've had some troubles... I've been trying to get Uncle Kracker for my girl/ex-girl, and I can't seem to get anything...

I've gone to Napster, and even though it says it's sharing like 400GB of songs, I have been having a hard time finding songs. And, even if I do a search for an artist name, I might get a few songs to come up (say 35) but not like it used to be (say 200 or more!!!)

Anyway, another thought, and the users on here should get a kick out of it, is that I wonder how many people got totally scared by this whole deal, found the list of artists that Napster could no longer share, and deleted them from their own hard drive as well, in an effort to save themselves if the FBI and the Record Labels came to their house to search! haha

I'll usually try to spell part of a song, I seem to have pretty good luck like that. I've also noticed some folks sharing entire albums as "track1", "track2" etc. I look around for those as well.

You have to be creative with your searches. I've managed to find a bunch of stuff, but still can't find Dream Police.

I found that purposely spelling the artist's name and song wrong to be helpful. Also abbreviations help too

for example...Janet Jackson - All for you becomes
J'net - AFY

i loved that my friend actually did a search for OFXN and found the NoFX song that I told him to look for. "The Decline" rules! Everyone has to download it! I'm just disappointed that NoFX isn't touring in Cali anytime in the next few months.

I could have used that a while ago. I tried searching so many things without luck. No results for "janet" or "jackson" and some other stuff. I finally resorted to downloading aimster. Works pretty good.
