its a two way street out there- for every girl hurting a guy, theres a guy hurting a girl.

i was hurt so bad after my last relationship, i retreated from everything for almost a month before i snapped out of it. even after that, i avoided all guys for a while, even ones who were just friends and i had no romantic involvement with for fear they would hurt me too.

that having been said, i'll let you get back to bitching and moaning about women.

Yes, the heartbreak in relationships go both ways...but it's not exactly even. I was having a discussion with 4 female friends last ngiht around 2 about how easy girls have it (in relationships, not anatomy...) than guys...and by the end, they agreed. We are supposedly responsible for every move in relationship...and that is just a load of Bull-happy-juice. Some girls say "this is the 21st century and we women go out and get what and who we want" but that is an even bigger shot from the Bull-glue-gun.
The heartbreak that guys deliver to girls is nowhere near as voluminous as that which we recive in return. Men just aren't as plotting (translation: EVIL) or vindictive as women. It's not in our nature.

I do disagree about the Eels though..."Novocaine for the Soul" was a decent song, but "Susan's House" (while creative...) and a number of their other songs...just plain suck. They're too laid back. I never get enough sleep, so with music like that playing...I just want to pass out (not because it calms me down...but because it slows my heart to 3 beats per hour).

If you want some GREAT music, you have to go PUNK!! Try "Four Dead Cheerleaders" or "The Legend of Finn MacCumhail" by the Dropkick Murphys and, OF COURSE, you HAVE to have "The Decline", "You Drink, You Drive, You Spill" and "We Threw Gasoline on the Fire and Now We Have Stubs for Arms and No Eyebrows" by NoFX.

HAve you guys ever seen the movie Love Stinks. It stars French Stewart and that girl who played Sonya from Mortal Kombat. Basically its about how a girl sucks a man into a relationship and marriage. It was on cable this weekend. It was really painful to watch all the scheming in a relationship....

I couldn't bear to watch it, but my buddy who had been in a bad relationship with an evil soul sucking wench, made me watch it...he said "you must watch..and LEARN!"

Not all women are evil. It's just that when you look back on those in your recent portfolio, you can only see the painful points. As time progresses, you remember all of the shared positive memories, and they begin to outnumber the negative ones. My ex who "destroyed me" still has a positive light in my brain, now after all these months. To improve the quality of your remembered girlfriends and dates, only consider exes who are more than a few months in the past. great comments everyone...but here is the thing...whoever up there said to stop whining and get on with things, you are probably in a great relationship, so you don't count. and my main point in this whole thing is the ******* boyfriend syndrom. i mean, do i really want to listen to this wonderfully perfect girl complain about how her boyfriend sucks, and say 'i wish i could date someone like you'...hmm, well....what's the problem? oh yeah, someone LIKE me...but not really me...because i am probably infected with ebola...and then they break up with the *******, and you think, great, here is my chance, but then they date the NEXT ******* in line...while i sit on my couch and listen to the eels...

and for the guy who said the eels aren't great...listen to their last 2 albums after being dumped, and you will understand what i mean...electro-shock blues and daisies of the galaxy...and yeah, punk does have its moments, and dropkick are great in concert, but punk is really just a lot of anger expressed in a very untalented way...it has its place, but it's something you don't listen to after you are like, 25...

There are a number of talented punk groups out there who aren't just angry, and I honestly believe that punk shows are more entertaining and energetic then any other concerts.

a few weeks ago, my sisters and i tried to get the singer at a bar to sing this. he wouldn't, no matter how hard we tried :bawl: after that, he ignored us completely. tho we did get some good requests in before he started ignoring us. i can't wait to go back again and see if he remembers us

while i do agree that dropkick and a few other bands are very incredible, the punk scene is so saturated with crap that its hard to find the good stuff anymore. and if you do find it, all the more power to you, but it still takes a certain mood to listen to punk music. it takes a completely different mood to listen to something like the eels. so while there is some good punk out there, the majority is very crappy. and i'm sure you already have everything they have made if you like good punk, but if you haven't, pick up a few of The Clash's albums...now THAT is good punk...

i dunno. when bitching about men and women, there are totally different things to bitch about. women do suck. i hate women. i try not to look them in the eye, let alone engage them in conversation. they are manipulative. they are golddiggers. they are the only half of the population who think it is perfectly reasonable to say "IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG I'M NOT GOING TO TELL YOU!!!" they want insane things, and they don't want to tell you what they want. not all women are like that, but i honestly don't know many women that are worth spending time with. (please ignore my use of the word "they" in this paragraph. ;))

Guys can suck too, but in a totally different way. They seem to suck by either being contolling and abusive or indifferent. All in all, tho, generally a hell of a lot easier to figure out.
