Every single program, that I have used, never burns anywhere near 80 minutes(even though the disks I buy have the space). Does anyone KNOW of a MP3 ->CDA disk burning application that does? A friend, is able to do it on his Apple(yuck!). There must be something for the PC that can do it also. I have large MP3 files(70+ minutes that I don't want to segment into separate disks).
Use Nero with an 80 minute cd. you MAY be able to do it with a 74 minute cd by overburning, but that depends totally on the cd itself. plus this is not recommended if you want to create backups or archives

Its not that everyone hates adaptec (well..maybe) but nero works so much better. It uses less memory, and its very easy to get a burn exactly how you want

I don't think you can get 80 mins with Adaptec 4. I couldn't figure it out. I know with Nero 5, you can just add up to 80 mins and it will burn fine, even if the indicator saids it's over the limit.
