One more problem.

My AOL instant messenger is constantly disconnecting and reconnecting because for some darned reason it says it lost the internet connection. However, I'm on ethernet and everything else works perfectly. Any ideas?

i'm on a university ethernet. I don't think we have a proxy server, so those fields are blank.

I'm having that same problem with mine, although I am on dial-up right now. At first I just thought that it was because of NetZero's crappy service, but now that I am with a real ISP, I have the same problem. Are you running Windows ME gear02? I never noticed it until I started using ME... of course, then again, I was on a LAN before, so maybe I need to reconfigure my connection to be dial-up...
