ok....but it wont be that exciting. i was married. then i got a divorce. sold the house to my ex becuz i still care about her well being. now i have a crappy apartment which is half the size, which when you consider the kitchen and stuff, seems to come out looking like less than half the size in the end. all this becuz she didnt want to go to counseling with me.

- Was taken to Hawaii twice and around Europe twice by her rich daddy - and she couldn't understand why I was pissed that I wasn't invited along on any of the trips.

- She took some college classes and her classmates became more important to her than I was.

- Kept me constantly broke even though she had talked her rich daddy into paying our rent - and he gave her a monthly allowance, so it was just me that was broke and not "us".

- Had two affairs and two abortions from them.

oh the stories that i've grabbed this year...but a number of them are just too odd, too off, or too private... I suppose I may have matured a bit, and even calmed down a bit, but women are still my ever-puzzling enigma. I'm always in a constant state of debating between dating the women who i know like me...or going for the absolutely gorgeous (and fun/intelligent; i don't go just for the body/face) women who seem to always be about 3 millimeters out of reach.

ps - If you do need one fun story about dating from me for this quarter (this coming Friday actually...), is it bad for me to have two dates planned with two different women for the same showing of the same movie? I'm trying to decide between the gorgeous girl who recently said "of course i can imagine the two of us hooking up sometime and i wouldn't regret it at all, but i'm not going to plan for it to happen" and another pretty cute girl who i was debating using (not using as in the 4F rule, but i couldn't think of a better word) as a step to moving past the gorgeous swede... Either way, both dates were just scheduled as "if we can both make it."

Well My story, last year I cought my wife cheating, we tryed to work it out, she said she wouldn't see him any more, two days later she was like 6hrs late, i look out side and see his car, so I go downstairs grab her arm and tell her we got to talk, by the time we get back up our stairs he follows, b 4 I could close the front door he pushes his way through ( knocking my wife over the table scratching her foot ).

me and him start going @ it in our apartment, we wrestled a little then he swung on me so I called '911'...he went back downstairs and waited for the cops, well 3 cars showed up...I pressed charges on him, he was arested and released on the spot...
I on the other hand had to go to jail ( the little scratch on my wife )... I spent two nights in jail, went in front of the judge and had to plee no contest just so I can get outta jail and go back to work....

I had to pay $410 in court fees and take a 52wk Domestic Violence class ( $26 a class oooch ) ( i finnished last night ) and am on a three year probation...


that all sucked...

and she is begging me to go back to her.....

don't have a lot to say about my current husband other than he's about to become an ex.

i do, however, have a good one about a high school boyfriend. we dated for nearly two years. the first year was great, the second one he turned into a control freak who didn't want to go out and have fun, didn't want me to have friends, blah, blah, ... and he started constantly threatening to dump me if i didn't straighten up (one incident that comes to mind is he refused to speak to me as long as i was wearing a certain baseball cap) so then i dumped him. he freaked. he professed his love. he left notes (like, 600 copies of the same four notes) in my locker, my car, my mailbox, etc. he proposed marriage. he threatened suicide. and one spectacular night, he threw up on my front lawn. he was still calling and hanging up (i knew him by his breathing) on me my sophomore year in college.
he was a redhead. redheads are mutants. i should know by now to stay away from them. my mom's first boyfriend was a redhead. he was recently on the front page of the local newspaper - for being arrested ... for selling crack ... to kids at the grade school ... where he was the principal. my sister's first boyfriend was a redhead. he wound up having a lawyer call to threaten my parents repeatedly over "the money she stole from him" (he was referring to an incident, 6 months earlier, where a coat of his that was in the trunk of her car, the trunk got broken into and the contents stolen, including his coat. police report was filed, state farm payed out, and my mom offered the bf the money for the coat, which he gallantly refused. now he wanted it to buy a ring for his new gf.)

i also have to say that cops get everything ass-backwards. so many guys here going to jail because their bitch is a lying bitch, and yet, when my bud mindy gets the shit beat out of her by her husband (a redhead, might i add) nothing happens. the cops show up, then leave, and he grabs their kid and runs off. two days later, they finally say "oh, yeah, i guess he's not very nice, is he?" and she gets to file a restraining order. so he got anger mgt classes, nothing more.

well, those particular females no doubt are using the situation to their advantage. but i am willing to bet that the situation is the way it is for a reason. i know a lot of guys that are just plain not nice. OJ comes to mind, but there are a lot more. ya see it on cops a lot. anyhow, ya.....there are guys that go to jail cuz of the guys. lol

im dopeys lil bro, in his life he has a 3 year old kid(turned 3 last week) and his 2nd is on the way(end of this month). laura doesnt take care of him much when he is at her house, she just ignorse him. the kid like my mom (his grandma) more than his own mom(thats what it looks like 2 me). all the time laura is complaing 2 him, asking 4 child care (they dont live w/ each other, ithink u can c y w/ his lil story) and she pays under 50 bucks a week 4 her aprtment!!!! it crazy she has like 5-6 programs she is on 2 make it cheep. sher also complaings when dopey takes the kid ou w/ him 2 places on the weekend w/o tellin laura, even though it is his day 2 look after him. its all fucked up

Man, I feel for everyone here. But hey regarding law enforcement. I don't want to speak for the entire profession, but by law police officers are required to arrest and detain anyone who even "touches" their "spouce". Two key words here touches and spouce. You can beat the crap out of a stranger and you might not get arrested. Depending on the situation, mutually drunk etc., you might get to go home. But if you are in a relationship or that other person is a spouce, girlfriend, etc. you will get arrested and land in jail. That is the law! Hey I don't like it any more than others do, but that is what it is. I used to like it back when they allowed the officer to make a case by case call, but not now. All sorts of reports must be filed even if an officer goes out to one of these incidents. And for every incident "they",the brass, want an end result, which is always the outcome they want. I don't know about what happens in court, because I am not a judge. But I will tell you one thing that is biased with our judicial system and it is how males are arrested "no matter what" in these types of incidents but women are not. Also, sentences and repercussions are far worse for men compared to women. I do understand that men are usually the culprits in these cases and do the greatest damage, but the law is lopsided and needs to be changed. One other thing I'd like to point out. If all of you don't like what you've heard you need to go out and vote for politicians who don't support and keep writing up and enacting into law these types of laws. If you don't they will keep making more and that means the cops will have to enforce them. Wheather they like it or not.

Mine was one of those born-again religious freaks. He hadn't attended church for years when I met him, but he started up again a few months after we started dating. For the next year, he tried to get me to go to church with him, giving me ultimatums to convert because "I won't marry someone who isn't Christian."

He also needed "anger management" classes because he shoved his family around a lot. I broke up with him because I figured it was only a matter of time before he was shoving me. I ended it over the phone because I seriously feared for my safety, and he sweetly threatened to strangle me, nice stuff like that. Four years later, he's still calling my folks' place during the holidays (when he knows I'll be home). Talk about a little slow on the uptake ...

Oh yeah, he was also very controlling and mentally abusive, and he had serious Oedipus issues, to boot. (Can I pick 'em, or what? :D)

First of all, I am not a lawyer or do I claim to have any knowledge but experience.

Is there any court orders right now concerning your kids?
Do you have documentation about when you have kept your son or your family has taken care of your son?
Do you have reciepts for everything you have bought for your kids?
Get a REALLY good lawyer, it will be the best investment you will ever make in your life! Even if you have to take a loan to get the retainer.
YOU serve her first. This will give you a small upperhand.
Get temp physical custody.
Get personal references especially ones that were around when things first hit the fan and know the facts about her behavor around the kids.
Does she drink around the kids? Does she smoke? Does she have various men over to the house with the child there?

Last but not least play it very cool around her. It will drive her batty. Leave the bad stuff and the underhanded stuff to her. It will only tear down her charactor infront of a judge.

Don't go to her w/o someone with you. Not a family member. The courts tend not to always believe them unless it was really big and officials have to get involved a few minutes later.

The biggest mistake I made with my ex was believeing him when he said he would give me custody of the children and we didn't need lawyers. It took me 18 months to get my children back.

Put your children first and everything will be okay.

I am in the process of getting a lawer, but my problem that she is holding over my head is the whole DV case.....


even though I didn't do any thing I was still convicted of DV, so all she has to do is call the cops and LIE and say I threated her over the phone and I will be arrested, So I am really walking on egg shells for the next 2 yeas till I am off of probation......

and because of the DV all she has to say in court is that she feels that I am a violent person to the judge, and I willnot get any custady @ all.....


she has the upper hand by far...

it really sux....

and now she is talking about getting a restraing order on her and my son again, so I would really be screwed then..........

Like I said, protect yourself.
Even with the DV against you. I know you are in/where in classes, so... go to counceling. It will help negate it in court to a degree.

A good Lawyer will help you with the DV part of it.
Especailly if you are playing cool around her. Like I said, no neg. reactions around her at all. And always take a friend.

My ex used to pull things when I would pick up the kids for my half of the week until I started taking a friend with me.
