because all these little muscles tried to contract to pull your balls back up the canal to your abdomen, and since you don't use those ball-retraction muscles often, they're really, really sore.

Better to NOT get kicked in the nuts. Then there's none of that pain stuff. Some people tend to forget to avoid such things, I know. But Your better off just saying NO to getting kicked in the nuts.
