Dude... all you need is a pair of heavy-duty bolt cutters ($18.99) and cable is FREE! Worked for me!

I bought a descrambler from a huge seller of them at eBay. It was f-ing junk. It basically just picked all the chanells I was already subscribed to. Wouldn't pick up any of the premium chanells, and to top it all off, the chanells that did come in, lost alot of their quality.

The guy said "something isn't right" and offered me my money back. Needless to say I took him up on it.

I wouldn't trust them, even at the 100. price.

needs to be rechipped for your area. i mean, not that i would know. hypothetically that could be it. if i knew. which i don't.

and welfare, sorry...the 19" is for the monitor. the device that was implied is of average dimensions. but the ability to use it is well above average ;)

Damn what a topic....just got mine in today. Sold my old one about a year and a half ago when I got cable modem (was afraid of the modem being able to check the descrambler) but a friend of mine has had his for awhile and no pickup. So I figured what the hell and bought a new one from ebay YES EBAY and its working great. Of course I called my cable company and let them know I was going to use the box that way its legal. Ya thats exactly what I did mr cable guy. Check with your supervisor....I swear I told someone there. :)
