i'm here. it's 11:18, and i am cheerfully contemplating my status as a near-total failure. with candy, making it an almost enjoyable experience. :thumbup:

it's only 9:56pm here. not late yet. i should be up til 1am...that is typical of me, cuz i gotta get up at like 7am. however, on weekends it is more typical of me to be up til 3a or 5a, whichever comes later. then i crash cuz i feel like i should (not cuz i am tired), and sleep til like 11am, cuz i can. sleep can vary from 4-6 hours for me. more than that and i am not good for nuttin.

That kinda sucks, since Indiana doesn't have daylight savings time, so esentially it is like being on Central Daylight Time, only my TV shows come on an hour later locally (time delayed).

Stupid farmers won't "go with the flow" and adopt DST, because they say it disrupts the schedules of their livestock...like the cows actually know what time it is... DAYUUUMMMMMITTTT!!!!!!

i went fishin in indiana once. caught squat. every river smelled like either industrial waste or dead-of-a-nasty-disease livestock carcasses. then at the campsite, the ranger confiscated all of our beer, not because we were rowdy, but because they actually had a no beer allowed rule(and the sign declaring that rule was hidden from view.)

so that's why i don't like indiana. the hilight was going to a bar after the loss of all the sam adams (sniff) where we got 50-cent drafts of old style, which is butt-nasty, but then, "50-cent drafts of old style" are worth a certain number of style points.

the worst is when the tv stations go off the air. at about 3:00AM, they start dropping like flies. i can't even rely on the history channel, 'cause it starts to repeat itself. i've seen every episode of star trek at least twice, and i have no interest in miracle rotisserie machines from Ronco. Counterstrike loses its appeal after about four hours. How hard would it be for TV stations to play episodes of the simpsons all night? call it public service, or something...

basically the history channel is all about world war two, and pretty much always from the american perspective (although other allied countries sometimes make an appearance). probably because there's tons of footage.
