just curious. i know at least one person out there has a hard-on for "the rock," and i'm bettin on at least one or two reservoir dogs and pulp fictions.
my list:
the star wars trilogy
i have no guesses as to how many hours of my life have been spent watching them. i can't recite them backwards and forwards, but give me a line from the movie, and i can probly give you the next line.
(i'm still suspicious of episode one, but it might grow on me)
drop dead gorgeous
somehow, it just gets funnier and funnier and funnier. contrary to what i thought before i saw it, it is wickedly clever. if you haven't seen it, rent it, cause i can't splain it.
hmm. other than movies that i loved as a kid, i guess that's it. i've seen braveheart more than once, but less than ten times, so i dunno if that qualifies or not...
hmm...
Star Wars Trilogy
With Honors
Animal House
Airplane
Almost any Monty Python movie/show
Bedazzled - this has been a recent thing just because Elizabeth Hurley is my wife
Ferris Bueller
...more to come when I think of them
I'll second Ferris Beuller, and add Les Miserables (the one with Liam Neeson and Claire Danes).
welfare, you can't quote from them cuz "there are too many of them!" lol. ok, "don't everyone thank me at once." hehe. Coona tuta, Solo? ok, maybe not that one.
ya, i dug all of the star wars.
in additin:
pulp fiction
reservoir dogs
bad lieutenant (full frontal nudity on harvey for the ladies)
goodfellas
the matrix
the saint
rocky horror picture show (hey, you had to when i was 16)
heat
ronin
very bad things
the exorcist (seen it about 167 times, and it keeps getting funnier every time i see it)
[Edited by m0j0 on 05-01-2001 at 09:49 PM]
I rented the following and would watch them over & over if I owned them -
Cruel Intentions
American Beauty
Gone in 60 Seconds (with Nic Cage - nice guy)
The Poseidon Adventure (sorry)
My Life (with Nicole Kidman and Micheal Keaton)
I'm not a big fan of star wars, i've watched them maybe a couple of times. Movies that I can watch over and over:
Gladiator (recent addition)
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
Beetlejuice
P.C.U.
Cruel Intentions (have become numb to the movie after girlfriend has forced me to watch it at least 10 times)
Dazed and Confused
I know theres a BUNCH more, if I watch a movie more than once, it has to be bad ass, I usually HATE watching a movie more than once, its just boring. These are exceptions :)

yep, i forgot about ferris bueller and animal house. more nostalgia value than humor value at this point, tho.
oh, and i forgot - A CHRISTMAS STORY!
i love it that tbs plays that movie for 24 frickin hours straight at xmas.
and when i was 16, i thought that rocky horror WAS very bad things. i dunno, i have always found it creepy...
and i have seen both the exorcist and beetlejuice (haha) several times. i dunno about "favorite," but they sure are compelling...
oh, and pcu sucked. not my opinion, just the facts. :P

There was this really cool documentary a few years ago..... A guy builds a little robot to go up the ventilation shafts inside the Great Pyramid in Egypt. Cool sh*t, and I can't find it anymore.
Oh damn overclocked, that one was BAD ASS. I saw it several times too, they came to that door with the iron hinge and they didn't know what was behind it? I have been waiting for them to do a follow up on that....I want to know whats behind that damn thing! And one question, is Flight of the Navigator that movie where the little boy gets in the teardrop shaped chrome spaceship? If it is, i am happy, I have been trying to find the name of that movie FOREVER!

No, I was counting Edward Scissorhands when I said that Nightmare Before Christmas was Burton's best movie ever...
There is a reason that I always wear an evil grinning Jack skull choker around my neck...
Best song in any Burton/Elfman combination is either "This is Halloween" or "Jack's Obsession" (of course I have respect for the simpsons and pee wee's great adventure themes, but they can't compete with the imagination in NBX). Of course...Oingo Boingo ruled too...
