hey,
it's really simple but for some reason I can't figure it out. I got the intellimouse explorer which is the 5 button optical mouse. I can't seem to find how to configure all 5 buttons. Downloaded intellimouse 3.2 but there is no mouse option for it. Thanks in advance for your help.

You said there was no option for it? Which Intellimouse is it? That big chunky gray one? Or the cooler white one? Can you guess which one I have ;)?

okay ass, that's the big gray chunky one. Notice how it's big and gray and chunky? It's not the cooler white one as pictured below. You probably couldn't find the place to configure them because ur an idiot. God I hate lamers.

Geez, a guy asks for help and gets put down? :(
brainsmile, I use a different mouse now but I did have one like that before. Go to start, programs and look for the ms mouse control. I forgot what they call it exactly but it should be there somewhere, maybe as intellimouse or something similar. Open it and there you'll see how to configure the other buttons. ;)

sorry about that. When I posted that I was in the process of dealing with a guy telling my friend that his motherboard wouldn't support a video card because it had onboard video. He also called himself an "Expert" with computers. The greatest thing was, he knew nothing. Here's some of the things he said:
MMX is the new type of MHz. My processor is a 400MMX not a 400MHZ.
AOL is better than cable because you have to share your cable connection with your neighbors.
The higher the dot pitch the better, because it makes your monitor bigger.
More microns makes your processor faster.
CAS3 is much faster than CAS2
I dunno about u, but my mobo only lets me plug one thing into each ide controller.
I hate ppl like that.

thanks for your help... I got it to work. I put in in the usb and it recognized fine. Then using it in the ps/2 so that the touchpad is deactivated. I hate it when the heat from your palms makes the cursor jump.
