IE5 Visited Links

Recently Inet Explorer 5 has been acting weird. You know how when you click a link, it will change color to something else because you've visited it? Well lots of my websites aren't doing that (gotapex for example) It just stays the same color so I can't tell if I visited the damn link. Anyone know how to fix this? Also, i used to just be able to type like "address.com" in the address box and it would goto http://www.address.com and now it doesn't. Anyone know how to fix this too? Just lil things that have been nagging me :) Thanks

This won't solve your problem, but here a tip that I have found to be EXTREMELY useful -

In IE (4 and above, I believe) if you want to go to a .com site, just enter the name in the address box and press CTRL-ENTER. So if, for example, you want to visit http://www.gotapex.com, just type 'gotapex' in the address box and press CTRL-ENTER. IE will automagically fill in the rest.
