Hmmm...

Visa Ve ???

sounds like a new credit card.

The correct term is:

vis-a-vis

:-)

What's with all of the LPM bashing recently?! C'mon...he's just your standard french-hating, tech-head, news god... Besides, if you ever saw PCU, "You're majoring in a language that has been dead for over a thousand years?!"

ProMinx (being nice for once...)

LPM - I, at least, appreciate the job that you and your lackie carwashers do around here...a lot. Your news posts have managed to convey upon me a rather intelligent and informed image in many friends...

as his brother, its your job to bash LPM. everything else does it, but you are the only one entitled to do it.

to get back to the original point of this thread... vis a vis is french, not latin, anyway. so, major suckage to thelonegunman in the first place...

which doesn't mean that LPM didn't butcher it. and it's and it's veni vidi, not vini vedi. :P

Fine, not like anyone cares, but my quote
"Utinam Barbari spatium proprium tuum invadant"
Simply means... Let the barbarians invade your personal space. That is all :)

Now Japanese is being turned into French...

Traditionally, it's "Domo Arigato", the "u" on the end is not used :-)

I told him to do it that way , because the literal romaji translation from japanese (‚Ç‚¤‚à) is Doumo, though people can say "Domo" and "Doomo", depending on how you want to put it.
