Radio installation in 2000 Honda Civic

a while ago, my friend had her CD player/stereo ripped out of her dash. she put the factory radio back in, connecting two wires. the thing however does not get any reception. i'm assuming she just didn't plug the bloody antenna in too, but i could be mistaken.

i've only put a couple of stereos in some fords, which was stupidly simple - just match up some wire colors and plug the beefy antenna in. is the process this simple on hondas?

Yea, it should be the simple. She most likely forgot to plug in the antenna in, or it somehow fell out? I don't know, it's not too hard to take out and check, i'd do that :)
