I am finally going the SMP route, and am going whole-hog, with two new CPUs. This means that my well-loved (not like that, you [H]orndogs) 700E needs a new home.

This chip has been cracking D-net keys 24/7 almost its whole life, first in Win98 (where it was 80% stable @ 966 and 100% stable @ 933MHz (at 1.82v)), and then under 2kPro (100% stable @ 910MHz @ 1.75v).

The chip will POST @ 1008MHz (1.82v), but my motherboard can't supply the voltage to get into windows at that speed.

Pics of the system this chip was the heart of are at http://home.adelphia.net/~rafe/overclock.html

Yeah, I do a lousy job of salesmanship. This has been a reliable & strong-performing chip for me, and that's all I can say for it.

Asking price is $100. (Pricewatch shows most untested FCPGA chips around $105-120.)

Thanks for the (limited) interest. The cpu has been sold. I've got a pair of SCSI CD-RW drives available, and will post them under a separate topic.
