Hmmm...I used fake info all the way. Didn't want to use my real address, but this offer seems to be for a Gift CHECK, which sounds like its suppose to come via snail mail....

Gift Cheques are a paper item.

Please explain the mentality of using fake information. Didn't people learn from the Cybiko contest (where all the legit entrants got a $100 computer thing)?
If you are going to spend all that time filling out information, why fake it?
Is your worry that they will send you junk mail? If so, who cares? You don't get a bill for mail you receive.
Is your worry that they will find out where you live? Well, all your neighbors already know where you live.
Is your worry that they will create a "file" on you? Well as soon as you spend an incentive (like a gift certificate [even an electronic one]) you are AUTOMATICALLY giving them all your personal info.

The only time I give fake info is at a store or a booth where I can pick up an immediate prize in exchange for a credit card application. I don't want the credit and since I would likely get rejected anyway, this will just save them the trouble.

it was sent through regular mail-I didnt remember doing this but I just saw on another board other people are getting theirs too and saying they did the survey in January.So-I guess I did it in January and Im just now getting it-Im not complaining-just saying it may take awhile to arrive.
For the people saying it takes a long time-PUH lease!! 7 minutes is worth $50 bucks any day-lets put "a lot" of time in to perspective here.

I don't work for a company nor own one (I'm still in HS), therefore I have no choice but to put fake info in when they are required. I'm pretty sure that no one here is running a company selling whatever the survey is talking about, so that means we all put some fake info in there somewhere.

Yes the survey is done. An email has been received that the people who answered this survey will not be receiving $50 since the survey was for real companies that deal with prepaid local dial tone.
