I visited the Silicon Valley BRASS RING Job Fair yesterday and I was SHOCKED! The place was empty!!!

They claimed 40 employers, but I think there were less than 20. It was HORRIBLE.

About 6 months ago, they took up almost the entire convention center and had probably 10x the employers. This was really.

The Brass Ring people were apologetic, but still it is a shocking reminder of the bad economy and the dot com failures. I remember just months ago when these booths were paying $100 to applicants just to leave a resume. Now the roles are reversed.

I am just still in shock...

I think the message is, go work on an offshore drilling rig. Only way to make the same kind of money, 'specially if this boneheaded energy plan gets hustled through...

Sounds like a plan...

Then a giant meteor can come crashing to Earth and me and my boys can be the only ones to save it...

and then we can extract demands like no taxes for life...

and then Liv Tyler can play with animal crackers with me...

Oh wait, that's Ben Afflick's life.

Ya know, call me absolutely nutty, but I'm really cooling on Liv Tyler being hot. I mean, she's definitely bulking up a bit, and her facial orifices look...well, they just look loose, like she has excessive skin and flesh around them. Maybe I'm losing it at an incredibly early age, but give me Charlize Theron or Gwen Stefani any day of the goddamn week.
