PISSMYSHITOFF SUCKAGE - security tags

okay, so i place an order for clothes from graffitionline, and i get the order - two pairs of shoes and a t-shirt. the t-shirt still has one of those goddamned plastic security tags on it meant to keep it from being shoplifted. i have no way of removing the goddamned thing. so i sent a curt email to cs saying that the t-shirt was useless, and they needed to send me a replacement immediately, and if they wanted their stupid useless one back, they needed to send me a postage-paid mailer, cuz i'll be goddamned if i'm paying for their mistake.

i swear i still don't know if it's really more convenient to shop online or not - i hate it when they fuck up my order.

i still own a bedspread that i got from jcpenney mailorder that got shipped to me with a fucking inktag attached. four years later, its still attached. i keep thinking i need to take it to a store and just explain what happened and get someone to take it off for me, but i really don't need the hassle of some big incident if they decided i had actually shoplifted a large quilted bedspread (you know, stuffing it under my shirt and pretending i was pregnant with duodecatuplets or something.)

so, moral of the story, security tags piss my shit off.

Yeah I hate those security tags too. I really hate it when they set off alarms as I'm leaving the store, wearing 4 pairs of pants and 6 shirts. All those clothes weigh you down, and its kinda hard to run. :dodgy:

if you take an elastic and wrap it around the underside of the smaller piece of the tag, it should work the magnetic thing up. just keep wrapping.

its supposed to work, tho i've never actually done it myself.

i was just about to say that! and i've done it, but it doesn't work on all tags, only the basic ones.

and no, i'm not a shoplifter, i've just worked in clothing stores. and when you find rubberbands and sensos in a pile, you sorta figure out what they were doing.
