That don't sound too good for your skin.
Hey Doomer, did you mean to put this in the Late Night Drunking thread. Haha. ;)

No... it will only help cosmetically.
You didn't do anything to the root of the wart.
Get something like that Clearaway wart remover

eww, sandpaper? Man, there's gotta be a better solution. just use some novacaine, then cut that sucker off with a knife

yeah, and next time your finger hurts you can just cut it off.
Why the heck would you do such a thing when they have over-the-counter medication for warts??

Dude... don't sand or cut the wart! You know they are contagious, right? If you aggravate it, it might spread! How long have you had it. I had one on my foot, but I kept it clean and dry and it went away.

I got some of those wart remover pads and they work splendidly. The sucker was gone in a day or two. Know if I could just figure out where the little bugger came from in the first place!

Probably after saying that you are going to get one.

warts are caused by viruses
sanding it down will not remove it
it will make it invisible for a little bit of time, but you can bet your comp(figured that was pretty valuable here in GotApex land) it'll come back
keeping yourself clean really won't keep you from getting warts...
but it will help get rid of warts you already have
basically the best thing to do is just ignore it's there and it'll go away

That's nothing a little battery acid can't take care of.

It's just a little one. Thought I'm experiment a little.

Thought about using a Dremel Tool but decided the risk a friction burn or even worst a slight slip of the hand and I would be in pain. :(

Considered an Exacto Knife but was affraid of hittin' a nerve. :(

Oh well, guess I'll use a wart pad IF it comes back.

Maybe I should become a surgeon. :D

Hmm what characterizes a wart anyway?

a big ugly protrusion :)

i had one when i was a wee boy. it was cool - i went to the dermatologist and he used liquid nitro to freeze the dern thing. then he gave me acid to put on it until finally i just tore the sucker off. it was gross, but very satisfying finally seeing this thing come off.

Just leave it alone and it'll go away. Unless it's like on your hand or something where people can see, then use one of those wart remover.

you can always go see a doctor, and they'll freeze the sucker with liquid nitrogen

kills the sucker right away

i am still trying to figure out how uncomfortable it would be to sit there sanding down a wart
i say pull out the olde switch blade and go at it with some vengence

i did the same thing! actually, i went to the doctor a few times, and he tried freezing it, and then cutting part of it out (cause it was pretty big.) but i still had some residual wart left. anyway, this happened in the summer (when i was about 14) so i was always swimming in the pool, and my skin was really soft. one day, i just ripped that sucker out. and then it was gone forever!

It's best to kill them while they're young. :D
