free longdistance and local phone cards. All you do is fill out a small survey and you get them. They are absoulutly free and i love them. I use them to call Israel and Europe. You can also use them on the 25cent outside phones.
They are free so why not have them?

Is there a catch (besides the survey)?
Do the companies use the numbers you call or are calling from for marketing or anything like that?

I use them there is no catch. THe only thing you should do is before the last 5 minutes left they will tell you that when they are over you may choose to continue to use it if you pay. I never continue i just sign up for another card.
Very easy and saves a lot of money.

I know those banners are Tel3, I have tried to get another phone card with the same company and they said it was limited to one per credit card and would not process the the second card for me.
Are you getting free phone calls when others sign up for the card?

Good deal, but I'll pass, I would likely forget and be charged $25. From their signup page "What happens after your Free Minutes are finished? When you reach the 49th minute of your FREE talk time, you will be notified by an automated prompt. At this time you have the option to end your call or continue using your card by simply pressing ‘1’ on your phone. If you do not press ‘1’, you will incur no charges. If you choose to press ‘1’, your calling card will automatically recharge with additional talk-time and a $25 charge will be billed to your credit card number on file.
Your domestic calling rate will be 3.9-cents per minute 24 hours a day, 7 days a week"
