ok...this takes a little bit of work but it works!
this is what i do....i know it's a bit crooked, so this is not for the unscrupulous.

basically, the big problemswith sending in for rebates is that the company wants the "original" UPC code from the box.
what i have found out is that every company has a procedure to handle LOST rebate submissions. they have what is called a "re-submission center". basically they ask if you have copies of the receipt, UPC code, and rebate form. you say yes...and "re-send" this stuff in.
what do i do? i buy the stuff that i want to get rebates on...mainly BIG stuff with $100.00+ rebates (digital cameras are easiest)...i photocopy the UPC code of the box and the receipt...then i return the merchandise, call the rebate center and ask for the resubmission center, mail my photocopies to this center....and wait for the cash to roll on in! easy as pie. i've made $250.00 plus...with more coming in!

It's much more than "a little crooked", you are a thief.

easy money's cool... but not when it's scandalous like that... alot of us have done something like this at least once in the past, and that's aight.. but no need to advertise it on GOTAPEX and taint our so highly valued repertoire of DEALS and such with some sheisty money making scheme...

Shysters who scam the rebate process are the worst. The term "thief" is an understatement. You are the reason that many legit rebate submissions are denied (but the rebate processors are not always on the up-and-up themselves, I have found). Abuse the system and the system will either cease or change for the worse. Easy money is no excuse for fraud.
