Independence Day DVD question?

Was thinking about getting this movie on DVD but have a question? Are there two versions of this movie out on DVD? I thought i remember seeing one version that had a few hours of extra features.

As far as I know there is only the Special Edition one. It has two different versions of the movie, and a supplemental disc with a bunch of lil extras.
