altec lansing and gamer xp

I just purchesed a Hurcules Gamer XP sound card to accompany my Altec Lansing ADA 885 speakers. My problem is that I can't seem to get the four spearkers to register in the XP Properties. It just shows the two mains. I get surround sound when I am gaming and have the speakers in Prologic mode, but I can't dolby digital surround when I watch DVD's. I need some help.

I'm not too familiar with the ADA 885's but I'm guessing its a connection issue. In order to utilize dolby digital you need a digital coaxial or optical connection. That might be your problem.
