Can a PSX memory card be used on the PS2? Also are all (original) PSX games playable on PS2?

sorry to intrude, but while you're at it....

Is there a dependable mod chip for the PS2 yet?

If I am not mistaken, then you can only use the PSX memory cards with PSX games....you need a PS2 card for PS2 games.

I think most games will play on it, but not all...

Don't know about the mod chips, sorry.

Black Francis is right, you can use a PSX mem card in the PS2, but only for PSX games. You need a PS2 card for PS2 games. The PS2 cards are 8 megs, and have super fast access times.

I'm gonna wait for a better modchip to come out before I get one.
