View Full Version : Good deals/ideas for Groomsman gifts?
05-29-2001, 12:11 PM
I am getting married late this Summer and am looking to get the best bang for my buck for my groomsmen. I am looking for a quality wallet, like coach or silver luggage tags or nice pocket knife. Something they will keep and remember the occasion by. A way of saying thanks.
Anyone have any ideas of a good place to look, or good coupons to use? I am also looking for good ideas of something to give.
Thank you so much for your help

Ashford.com (http://www.ashford.com) has some high quality gifts which are right up you alley. Check the Ashford deals page (http://www.gotapex.com/deals.php?store=24) for the best discounts. They offer 15% off of your entire order with code 7A348AAAAA, or $50 off a $250 purchase with code 9783BAAAAA. Also, when you spend over $100, you get free shipping, and all orders come with a nice red Ashford.com gift bag (well, at least they used to).
Here are some links to...
Pocket knives and other accessories (http://www.ashford.com/A2K/Products/MensAccessories/TiesCatalog.asp?Category=MensAccessories&L1=Other&sid=%402A9A9I9%40A3M2%3C%3C1ACG%3CB%3AJ%3DF5995%3EII%403)
Another idea is perhaps a nice pen and pencil set.

Thank you! This looks like a good idea. I will share these with my finance tonight. Keep the ideas coming, I will probably commit to something mid June.

well, I can't do better right off hand, but a $60 keychain!?!
looks a little expensive to me...
If you have a couple tech geeks, you could try a visor for $40
or better yet a visor deluxe for about $100
After rebates of course...

Yea, I saw the keychain. The other stuff was good. Trouble with rebates is that I have serveral groomsmen and a couple of them already have palm 5's or better. It is a good idea. I dont know if I should get myself into personalized gifts.

I was a groomsman, and I got a swiss army tool (sorta like a leatherman) engraved w/ my name on it. That was pretty cool.

I am looking at:
wallets (coach or good name)
silver luggage tag with initials engraved(too girly?)
Any good ideas?
I actually have a best man, groomsmen and usher so there is room for variety.
