Suggestion for LPM and his Random Bits

While your Random Bits are chock full o' nuts (and information, of course), I find it very hard to quickly read through to find bits that interest me. My attention span has dwindled more and more over the years, so when I read news on a website, I usually scan for headlines. My suggestion, slap in some mini headers. They don't have to be the headlines with the thumbnail image beside them, just something that makes it easier to scan for pertinent information. You can still flow all you want with your random implantations of song quotes, and nothings, but let's see some headings in a bigger bold font please?

I kinda agree with coleslaw on that... it would help find the bits around the songs :)

I like the way you make it all flow together though. It has kept me going to the front page... stuck in the forums I sometimes forget the "useful" stuff on this page :)

oh... and something else.... there is nothing wrong with being crabby... :)

Actually, LPM, you need not even create a separate headline for each bit - maybe you could just make the keywords of each bit a font size or two bigger - and bold, maybe even colored?

err, I think a bold call out here and there would certainly help, and I'd forgive you if the call out was straight, as long as the rest of the description was tongue-in-cheek.

dunno if more colors'd work though with the background that's on the front page.
