Do these things ever go on sale anywhere? It seems like they are price fixed...
If you have a Sears outlet center near you, you could find a great deal. Saw a Neptune for about $800.00, looked brand new and had one year warranty plus extended avialable. Sales guy said alot of the stuff there is just floor samples, or stuff that people ordered and decided they didn't want. We ended up buying the "Calypso" with matching dryer for $1200.00 out the door including tax and extended warranty. We saw the same washer at a local appliance discount store for $1299.00, washer only. This outlet is in the Orlando metro area. Check locally to see if they have one.
