Tomb Raider the Movie?

Ok... now is this a good idea or not?
I think it's going to end up being some gay movie only a bunch of computer nerds that are in love with lara croft will go see...

It's an action flick, just like hundreds of other action flicks. It's just the premise is a little different. It uses a game as the jumping off point for making a movie. It's just the source of the idea.
Any action flick with Angelina Jolie will get my business.

You all know you are going to go see it whatever you say here. Get up off your high horses and admit it. It looks like it will be good, despite the premise.

I have never play'd the tomb raider series of games, but I think the movie looks like it will be good....

I just bought the soundtrack today @ lunch!!!....

well... went to go watch Evolution yesterday. Not a really good movie, but good enought for a couple of laughs.

But one thing I've noticed that's similar in most of the movies coming out this summer is that they all have no plot or point. It's just mindless humor or violence to keep the kids who are off for summer vacation entertained.

The only movies I'm really looking forward to are Final Fantasy, Kiss of the Dragon, AI, Jurassic Park III,
and American Pie 2.

But I'll probably go watch Tomd Raider cuz the action sequences look pretty cool. Oh yeah, and Angeline Jolie is a fox.. =P

I haven't been to the movies in a while, but this is one I'm going to see. I'm not so concerned with plots and such when it comes to this kind of movie. I want to see a fine female form, good special effects, and lots of sh*t blowing up.

I saw this movie Wednesday night. It had some cool action sequences... However, I did fall asleep during the movie. Darn Ericsson for providing open bar right before the movie!

Yeah... I always thought it was such a shame that he passed away after such a god awful movie. He should have left on a high note.

I didn't claim anything. Just voiced my opinion that most of the movies that come out in the summer do not have much in terms of plot or point. And that what summers are for! Pointless humour and/or action!

The best movies usually come out in the Fall... X'mas is another bad season for movies, ack!

I never played the game, but Nokia sent me some tombraider chronicles thing and a dvd with her on the cover, but i never popped either in. I did see Angelina Jolie in Westwood last week though. She had huge dark glasses on...but she still looked really exotic/hot. That's the way I always think of her: hot...but not normal hot; it's a weird hot. The movie will suck though...
