I think that Sierra mist is supposed to compete with Mountain Dew whereas Slice competes with 7-Up.

thanks crabbie! I'll try them both out :) I haven't yet tried Sierra Mist.. It's been years since I've tried Slice..

plutarcho: I thought something like that at first but Pepsi ALSO makes Mountain Dew and Mountain Dew contains caffeine..

I think Pepsi might have created Sierra Mist to compete with Sprite, which is made by Coke. They are virtually the same beverage. I don't think they made Sierra Mist to compete with Mountain Dew, since both are made by Pepsi.
