I just picked up a Sony Xplod XM-552HX 55W x 2 Car Amplifier
....I got it to run some Boston 6x9s....

Anyway...this is the first time i'm doing this sort of thing....anyway, I got all the cables to the trunk, and when I turn on the stereo all three lights turn on on the AMP (Over Current, Offset, Thermal), and the 6x9s aint movin....

If it matters my head unit is the Sony CDX-L550X

Any ideas on what I did wrong???

Thanks.

Make sure the gain isn't turned all the way down

Sounds to me like you have a short or some other electrical problem. All three lights coming on is usually some sort of error code. Check your + and ground wires, especially the ground, and make sure they're securely connected. Also, check the manual for the amp to see if it tells you what the error-code readouts are.

Are you running RCA inputs or high-level?
