Just came from the local OfficeMax, bought 4 spindles, 200 cdr's for $38 w/tax. These are 16x also.

They are in the Sunday flyer as Kingstons but the Craig Rd location in LV had Hypermedia for a sub. Dunno but we bought 3. If we have to return them, oh well. But honestly, we have been lucky and never had any type of issue with any cds that we have bought.

I've burnt 3 cd's so far, 2 audio and 1 data- everything came out good.
Crabbie, I've go the same one's as you, they're Kingston hypermedia.
I used to buy all the expensive stuff, but to be honest I've had less problems with the generic, and it hurts the wallet less when I goof. :)

Your burner makes the difference. If you have a nice quality cdrw drive(like a Plextor), you're less apt to get coasters with iffy media. The worse your burner, the bigger the chance it'll hiccup on the cheaper media..
