hmm good thing or bad thing?

wierd weird... i had a problem with my car before.. it made a scratching noise that you can hear scratch.....scratch.....scrath (in sync with the tires)

i think something might be loose or something and hitting the wheel when braking, this went on for two weeks and just when I want to fix it. It stopped... I wonder if that is a good thing or not ... should I still have it checked? How much do you think it will cost to check it?

err, look in the wheel hub to see if something's hanging down and rubbing against the tire. it's happened to me on several occasions, but was nothing a quick hand saw didn't fix :)
