I went for the Compact Flash 128MB deal which is an excellent price. While I was there thought I would pick up the Kodak Expansion pack. It listed on amazon.com for $99.99

I tried to identify what the bag looked like and ended up at Kodak's site which had the same pack but it listed for $74.95

They got deals but they got ripoffs as well.

It's called a loss leader.
Stores do it all the time....sell you something at a loss in hopes you will pick up the associated items at a profit.

Nothing new..not really a rip off either. Just keep your eyes open and only buy what you need.

Frankly, the greatest advantage that the internet has over B&M is that shopping on it allows you to price compare like never before.

If you're shopping online and not looking at at least a few sellers, you're throwing money down the drain.

Stores will also do this to get you in the store to buy other stuff you need. For example, I need to get some bread and AA batteries
