View Full Version : Magazine deals for real?

In the past few monthes, I have ordered (among others) Playboy, Yahoo Internet Life, Stuff, FHM, and Bike magazine from free magazine deal sights that do not require a credit card. I still haven't recieved a single issue of any of them. What ahs everyone else found: do magazine "deals" usually turn out to be pipe dreams, or do they generally come?

Some do. I've been getting FHM and Gear fo' nuttin'. But probably the best (and most legit) deal is the BestDealsMags or something like that (check the deals page). It's like $3, and if you can't pay that for magazine subscriptions, you probably can't afford any of the stuff in them anyway.

I've seen that sight, and I'm glad to hear it actually works: I'll get jane for my girl and get props for being so considerate, for a mere 3 bucks. Nice. What other magazines deliver on the "free" promise?

Hopefully so...I'm not sketchy enough to actually go and pay money for Playboy, but if it's going to come to my house free, who am I to turn it away? :)

I have been getting very cheap magazines from http://www.members.home.net/maglady/
i havent come across very many that dont deliver. over the last two years i have received newsweek, wired, playboy, automobile, car and driver, elle decor, business 2.0, an it professional magazine, and i think there's one more. anyway, i got 'em all for a year at a time free, and a chance to subscribe for a really low rate at the end of the year. i would never pass up on a chance to subscribe to a free publication, if it doesnt work, who cares?
