Anyone ever actually been a pimp? Any suggestions?

I have a friend... he gets approached by potential "women of the evening"... they want him to "manage" their careers and will offer a significant percentage for this service...

Sounds like a good deal in this tight job market.

Any advice?

Please note that he is a hefty, but business-savvy white bread cracker. he also thinks he looks good in purple but owns no fur. Also, he has a luxury car, but no caddie.

He is also more of a geek so roughing up people is likely not an option. Also, unlike me, he is not a gunman at all and won't be packing the heat.

This is in a large metropolitan area, but he is presently in the 'burbs.

If he's not ready to protect himself or the women he "manages," by kicking ass or having a gun, then he'll probably get eaten alive. Pimping is not for the light of heart (no I am not one myself). Its a pretty ugly, competitive business, and the competition is usually not a very ethical bunch.
