Can I use this as a personal computer?
I would love to run with a dual processor, and for $499+ a new processor, that is a pretty good deal.
Is this even possible, or worthwhile? I don't really even need it, but I just want it :)

windows 2000 pro will run with a dual processor. however, many apps (and i'm not sure about games) aren't designed to fully use a dual processor.
either way - have fun with it
".....but these go to 11."

You could, but you could probably get more features for less $$$ if you bought a "home" computer.
Dual processors must be supported by your operating system and applications. Windows 95/98/ME won't recognize or use the second processor. Even if you were running NT/2000, any applications you probably have wouldn't utilize a second processor.
