puppies or kitties

i think kitties are cuter than puppies. i don't dislike puppies by any means. however, kitties appeal to me more.

just curious what y'all think. not about me....what do you prefer....

:) kitties are cute-till they get to be about two months old, then I want to dust my furniture with them. They are bitchy. Dogs are just plain ol cool anytime. :)

from a cleaning standpoint, i'd have to say kittens. granted, they do their bit in a box, but it's small and convenient. and if they yack, that too is pretty small.

puppies are larger, therefore make larger piles.

when it's playtime though, i'd have to say puppies. they're just goofballs and full of energy.

for the record though, i have two young cats. but only because i live in an apartment :)

I have 2 12 year old cats that I've had since they were born. I like em better cuz they dont constantly nag you for attention and lick you and jump all over you. Those damn hairballs are never fun though!

Kittens.. definitely... they don't chew up nearly as much stuff as a puppy. (taking my experience with a wicked australian shepard pup that had a fetish for redwood furniture) BAD DOG

I just had dog stew last week. It's pretty good. Very tender and has a distinct aroma....I'm not kidding, by the way.

Puppies are often destructive to property, and kittens need a litter box that will stink up the house if you don't keep it clean. It all depends on what you're willing to put up with.

I for one am a cat person. I just hate it when a dog jumps on me and/or licks my face (GAWD that's gross). And you know how a puppy will pee cuz it's excited to see you? No thanks. Oh, and my cat never kept anyone in the neighborhood awake by barking all night. Dogs have their place in the world, but that place is nowhere near me.

I like puppies cuz they can be so much fun, but unfortunately I've developed an allergy over the past few years. (For no apparent reason... I used to have dogs at home when I was growing up.

So now I have a cat instead, actually I love all animals, and would love to have a mini zoo at home. =P But my cat's great, takes care of himself when I'm busy. Don't have to take him for walks daily, actually I do put him on harness and leash and take him for walks around my neighbourhood. He's getting better about it. He used to just lie there and you'd have to drag him along.

I think the coolest thing would be to rear a tiger cub or some kind of huge animal like an elephant. That would be cool!

i like puppies better, btw. you can actually play with them. i agree with the fragile kitten statement. dogs are just better in general.
