The actual HP-Apollo site is http://www.myapollo.com.
The rebate is $40 Canadian, and the offer is valid only in Canada.

The offer is good in the USA as it doesn't mention anywhere on the rebate about Canada, but it does mention the US quite a lot on the US REBATE. Notice above the Canada rebates are US rebates.

Has anyone ever had a hassle giving Staples a copy of the UPC?

My apologies, resented, you are correct!

Hey Resented, does the staples coupon require the original UPC as well? (the coupon doesn't seem to specify) If so, you can only mail one original to one rebate, right?

Forget what I said before; I called the rebate center and they said a COPY for the Staples rebate was fine. :)

Staples has a clause in their rebate statement:
"Offer not valid with any other rebates, offers or promotions. Offer valid in US only.... "
Did any of you actually make that $14?

I got my printer and scanner today. They come in a box which has a UPC printed on it. This is the UPC that Staples needs for the rebate. Inside of the box are the scanner and the printer. Both are individually wrapped with their own UPCs. The UPC on the Apollo box is the valid UPC for the $40 rebate. That along with a copy of the shipping slip will get you the Apollo rebate according to their customer service.
Bottom line, both rebates will work and you will get free stuff plus free money. You gotta love Staples!!

the staples rebate center seems to be broke. Could someone post a copy of the rebate or a link to it?

Does anyone know if you could purchase and take advantage of the rebates...if you have already purchased one of these combos a few weeks back? Is it still considered one per customer even if the product was purchase a few weeks ago when they had the same promotion?
Because I really would like to get another one of these printers.
thank you.

When you checked out the model number for your Apollo printer. Was it a P2150? I recieved a P-2100U printer, but the receipt says it is a 2150. The rebate form for the apollo states that it is a P2150 for the rebate. Did staples ship me the wrong printer?

Received mine yesterday...completed the online Rebate form and sent out the UPC and copied shipping invoice today (Staples said this was okay since it was an online order). I then completed the Apollo Rebate and mailed it in. I don't see a reason why both rebates would not be valid, it is not two rebates within the same company. Worse case we only get the Staples rebate, making the deal cost us around 25.00 and then EBay one or both items and still make money on the deal...either way its a win/win situation.

Just in case some of you may be thinking of keeping the scanner and are running Win2000, there are no drivers for Win2000, and HP site says it is not support at this time.
Hopefully this may save some of you from ripping apart the box and throwing away everything as I did before I happen to check, (I should learn to "read" and see if its supported first... uhhh nah.. ;)

I ordered mine yesterday and just got it today. The outside box states "P-2150U" for the printer, on the PRINTER box it says "P-2100U SERIES COLOR INKJET PRINTER" (note "SERIES"). If you look at the upc code it should plainly state P2150U however.

The printer I received said P-2150U on it...at least thats what I noticed for the two minutes I looked at it before cutting the UPC out and packaging it up to ship it to its new owner.

Yes, my printer says P-2150U right on the front. But at the top of the box on two sides it says "P-2100U SERIES COLOR INKJET PRINTER". And after reading that post saying he got a P-2100U I thought the same thing happened to me until I looked at the UPC and the printer itself. Maybe that guy didn't open the box to look at the printer and is going by that statement on the box.

Yes, after looking at the UPC, I found out I had the right printer model.

Anyone happen to have the drivers (Win2k) for the scanner they could possibly email, or post somewhere? I somehow lost my driver CD and I just re-formatted my box.
I cant find ScanJet 2100C drivers anywhere on the net..
Thanks!

Joemi,
Last I check the apollo site, they said that it's for win98/me only. They will not ever support win2k. (But maybe that was for the printer.)

Yeah they dont "support" win2k, but the drivers on the CD seem to work great with my win2k, sp2..
Thanks
