HOLLYWOOD, California (Reuters) -- Corleone faithful will soon get the official news they've been waiting for: "The Godfather" trilogy is coming to DVD.
On a Brooklyn street made up like a 1950s-era movie set, director Francis Ford Coppola and Paramount Home Video will host a press conference Monday announcing the discs' fall release date, Variety reports.
The three films will be part of a special edition boxed set and will undoubtedly include plenty of extras.
"The Godfather" and its sequels have arguably been the most requested titles not available on DVD, and possible release dates have largely been kept under wraps ever since the format took off.
Paramount is on a DVD roll of sorts; another one of its blockbusters, "Forrest Gump," will be released on August 28.
