Wow, what a great deal. (8) half pound coffees for 4lbs total, options for ground vs whole bean and decaf vs regular. I had a lot of fun trying to decide what I wanted. Thanks Leon!

The first time I tried my total came out to $32.97, but several of the coffees I had selected priced out above $5.00 after discounts. So I redid my selections with the $5.00 coffees and got the price down to $20. After selecting standard shipping ($6.95), the shipping discount shows up when you get to the payment page. Great deal!

Hmm.. perhaps it's time to find a deal for a high-speed burr grinder for you.

PLEASE DO! The one I've been using for the past 15+ years is in need of replacing!

Heck yeah! I might be interested in a fancy grinder if the price is right! I just have a cheapo model with a spinning blade, it was like $10 a long long time ago. The plastic is all yellowed on one side because I used to keep it on a window sill.

I've been enjoying my coffees. I also picked up one of these burr grinders:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...9SIA1JX0E98693 (http://www.gotapex.com/l/288233/8-Packs-of-Gevalia-Coffee-for-just-20-Shipped!1430181-1)
I'm very happy with it (especially for $37). Several of the plastic parts on my 15-20 year old Braun burr grinder were broken which made it hard to use. For the Braun, I never left beans in the hopper -- just measured out the amount I wanted to grind and ran the grinder until all the beans were ground. The Cuisinart has a slider for the number of cups you want to grind and it does a good job of grinding the correct amount, so I've just been emptying one of the .5 lb Gevalia packages into it -- very convenient.
Nice! It's pretty hard to find a high quality burr grinder for under $100 it seems.

I hope you like it (I do). I don't do anything except grind for a drip coffee maker. I don't know how this works for things such as espresso grind.

It looks like it'll work fine for me. I'm looking for a coarser grind because I use a french press. :)

Grinder arrived yesterday so this morning I brewed up a batch of the nice Columbian stuff from Gevalia. Even on the coarse setting it looks much much smaller than what I usually got out of my cheapo whirly bird grinder. It worked just fine in the french press though, so seems like maybe I've been grinding way too course for years now and probably getting really poor efficiency. This thing's prolly gonna get me a lot more mileage out of a bag of beans. Tasty cuppa Joe too! Thanks for the deals Leon and Markel!

Glad you finally got to sample the coffee in a burr grinder. Here's to caffeine addiction!
The Capresso Infinity Burr Grinder is on sale at Amazon for $66 if anyone wants something more robust.

A friend pointed me toward this Gevalia commercial. Kinda creepy IMHO. Maybe people are familiar with these but I'm not (don't watch TV).

There's a whole series of them with this Johan character (who, it turns out, is from California, not Sweden). The FIKA one is pretty good, haha. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viPsC5rc1Fg (http://www.gotapex.com/l/288777/8-Packs-of-Gevalia-Coffee-for-just-20-Shipped!1430584-1)

*sigh* I'm all out of Gevalia and back to drinking lesser (Trader Joe's or Cost Plus World Market) beans. I think my favorites of the ones I got were the Colombian and Stockholm Roast.
