There is one more plus to the DSL service: my husband is now on the net and I share the connection with him through a hub (which is permitted by Earthlink) so there are 2 of us enjoying a faster connection. So perhaps if you have someone with which to share the service, a high speed connection may become more financially viable by splitting the cost.
