Staples Rep told me, that the "X" on end of ACS33X means it's a refurb unit. So they can't price match Dirtron.com price. Should I just call back and hope for a clueless rep? How did you guys get it to work?

AND Staples has two models of the speakers:
the ACS33 and the ACS33W. What's the difference?

well that ACS33W has those 3 little letters, OEM while the acs33 doesn't :)

I called Staples and the rep price matched it for $30 ($25 + $5 shipping). You should call back, and if they still give you problems about the speakers beaing a refurb at Directron, mention SKU IM1205674. That model is a refurb that Staples is selling.

Interestingly, my rep didn't even need the Directron URL to Price Match. I mentioned the name, and she knew how much to price match....

I called them twice. First time they told me that they would have to charge me highest shipping rate, which was ~$29. Second time they told me that they can't price match it unless it's the exact same model name (ACS33 or ACS33W), not ACS33X. So I told them that I know people already ordered w/ that price. And then the rep asked me if I knew thier phone # or order # (He probably thought I was making it up). So I said forget it. Then convince my self it's not worth all this hassel.
