and this one has tons of features. Unfortunately, mine came DOA and when I sent it back for an exchange, they said it was out of stock and maybe discontinued! Meanwhile...my credit card has the charge and I'm waiting on yet another rebate :(

Mine is sitting on top of my TV looking pretty. I am considering painting eyes and a mouth on it. I guess I should check to see if it works.

Well.. if you already got your rebate, you can always sell it used on Amazon, and make a profit! It's kind of a pain to wait for someone to buy it, but hey, if you need $34.80, well then here ya go!

...give it as a gift to someone. Labellers are the kinda of things that you don't know how much you need one until you start using one.
If you don't have any friends/families with B-days or such, give it to an old school teacher or pastor at a church-I/we love the things.

Only thing about giving it as a gift is that the hole in the box wouldn't look very nice. :)

SporkPork,
The deal is gone now. It was a labelmaker that was free after rebate. And a lot of people got it b/c it was... free after rebate!

I didn't have a big need for this thing, but I've used it for a lot of stuff since I got it. Labeling portable things with name/phone # mainly, but also I plan on organizing the 'ol garage and labeling the drawers with the contents. I think labelers are underestimated almost as much as products like laminators. I got a GBC laminator from staples a few weeks ago that ends up being about $25 after rebates. I've used that thing almost every day.
