I just got home from the Dido concert in Seattle. One of the bands that opened for her was Travis. Irish, I think. They absolutely rocked! I haven't heard any of their studio recordings, but they're just great live.

Oh, and Dido was really good too. "Thank You" could've been a little better, but that picking nits. She did most of her album No Angel and some new stuff. She has a new song called See the Sun and it was really good.

Yes. Oh, and they're Scottish, not Irish like I first thought. Their new album is coming out soon, called Invisible Band. Buyin it fer sure.

Yeah, I've been listening to Travis for a while now. They are akin to the old Radiohead, which is why they are so good. Some friends of mine saw them at Bogart's in Cincinnati, but I couldn't go.

yeah travis are pretty good. look around for a cover of them doing "hit me baby one more time" live. good stuff

I have that song on mp3, and the tabs too for that matter. Such a great song to sing. Relatively easy to play on guitar too.

my friend went to dido here in Chula Vista and said that the venue was too big for Dido. Also said that Travis did a good job while Dido was a nightmare...and that everyone looked like little twigs.

To be honest, I thought they'd be another one-hit wonder.

I just got their "Invisible Band" album the other day though, and it's great! Sappy, of course ... but catchy :D
