I got this email from a prof a few min ago...

Dear Class,

In the event of a blackout during our final exam on Friday (10:30 - 12:30)
we will try to finish the exam by flashlight. Please bring the following to
the exam:

1) A brown scantron form (same as the ones used for both midterms)
2) 2 soft #2 pencils
3) Your student ID.
4) An eraser
5) A flashlight

Please put your student ID number on the scantron form before the exam and
CHECK it to be sure it is correct.

update: the professor just sent us another email...subject:
"It's not a joke- Bring flashlights"

Dear Students,

The Assistant Executive Vice Chancellor has issued instructions for dealing with a blackout during final exams. Bring a flashlight so that we can continue the exam. There are no windows in the room. Another option is to
reschedule the exam for 7 p.m. Friday night. I know many people need to leave campus early Friday afternoon, so the best option is to finish by flashlight if at all possible.

I have a maglite....i dont know if i want to lug it around though and not have a blackout! ha, i think i'll just use my keychain photonlight...this whole ordeal is so gay, i cant believe the teachers are asking us to bring flashlights......what about those who cant afford flashlights? another fine example of how education targets only the rich people. ha
